35mm Photography Developing Workshop
35mm Photography Developing Workshop
In this workshop Emma Bentley Fox will teach you how to develop black & white 35mm film using a developing bag & equipment.
This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, as well as those already shooting on film, who want to learn how to develop film at home, as this technique does not require a darkroom. You’ll receive a roll of film in advance of the workshop to shoot - bring this to the workshop to develop in a friendly, non-judgemental environment. All equipment will be provided (apart from the camera, of course) on the day.
This workshop is ideal if you want to learn a new skill or give someone an interesting Christmas present as the film will come gift wrapped. If you’re buying someone a camera for Christmas, this is an IDEAL accompanying gift.
Accessibility
You will receive an email before the workshop, with more details around access. Please do get in touch if you have any questions around access, or any access needs. If you have a carer or support worker they are welcome to attend with you, free of charge, provided you let us know in advance.
Getting here: Emma’s studio is located in Mabgate, Leeds, a 25 minute walk, or 15 minute bus from Leeds Train Station. There is one Disabled parking bay, and limited regular parking on-site.
The workshop: The studio has step-free access, is located on the 1st floor, and is accessible via a lift. There are accessible toilets on each floor. The space is heated and there is access to comfortable seating, and quiet space to rest. There is a kitchen onsite with access to kettles & microwave. We will take regular breaks as a group, and the session is relaxed and informal, for those that want to breakaway alone throughout the session. Developing can be done seated or stood, and I have a range of table-heights to accommodate this.
